fog problem on pcsx2

i tried playing god of war 1 and 2.on pcsx2.the frame rate is not a problem.but whenever i play i get a layer of fog on my screen which is very much annoying.i tried nearly every settings but i couldn’t fix it.only in the d3d software mode the fog is gone,but it runs very slow on software mode.i have tried with pcsx2 0.9.6 and the latest beta.but none of them work.plz anybody help.

I have an intel dual core 2.5GHZ,2GB ram and Geforce 7050 with 512MB memory, but i try to play games through pcsx2 0.96,it didn’t play, can anyboby help me how to configure the pcsx2 according to my specs? thanks in advance!!
