Firefox bookmark help.

before i formatted my HDD, someone here told me to copy the stuff in AppData/Firefox/Profiles, which is a folder named xxxxx.default, and in that folder i have:
Cache folder
startupCache folder
urlclassifier3.sqlite
XPC.mfl
XUL.mfl
so after the format, i copied them into the new xxxxx.default folder, and….VOILA! nothing happens.

Chances are you didn’t copy it all, or didn’t paste it over correctly.
Should be using FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension).

Also, you should be using Xmarks,
so you can access your bookmarks anywhere and sync between browsers.

PS: You can try opening profile manager and see if your profile is available.
Run this command.
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager
Ajust ‘Program Files’ according to your install location.

“C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles” was the full location
did you try “importing” your bookmarks to the fresh install, not just copying
