Firefox 36.0.1

August 7th, 2016

Hi anyone got a work around for Firefox 36.0.1 because since last night downloading files which contain the cracks are being blocked for having virus of spyware as I said this only started last night and i have found if you go to tool—options–security—and uncheck the “block reported attack block sites” then I am able to download the crack files and although I mostly use uploaded.net for downloads this work aroud leaves my pc exposed whilst downloading.
Is someone has a better work around which keep pc secure I would appreciate the share…thanks in advance

Answer #1
You could put the sites that you want to allow in — tool—options–security—“Exceptions”.
Answer #2
I tried that and it looks like its exceptions for addons only and not for downloading
Answer #3
You tried using ZenMate? (it’s a free VPN add-on)
I have Firefox 3601 and have no problems downloading without changing any settings (upgraded from 3600).
Answer #4
I use hola unblocker which is a free vpn at the minute because my ISP provider blocked so will try this ZenMate and report back

what kind of warning you get ? if it is about site you even wouldnt able to enter the site and get immediate warning “reported attack site” , if you get in to the site and start downloading , firefox couldnt give a warning since it does not have an inbuilt av. it seemed strange to me. if you cant fix your problem and it is your only problem , try a downloader like jdownloader to download the files.
edit : i didnt see at first but if it is uploaded related , you have no chance but waiting for google mark it safe on its safebrowsing list or using a vpn. but strange thing is , uploaded net is not listed as suspicious

l the problem is not with uploaded net as i can download from the server it when firefox detects a virus or spyware which I presume is the crack file then it blocks the download and having read about it on the net looks like firefox 3601 is using a google method of scanning.
I have read about the article here and looks like it is built into the new firefox

strange i always read the release notes but didnt see any built in av or i missed it probably. if it is the case you need to disable it through deep settings which can be reached by writing about:config to address bar, but unfortunately i dont know what command you should have look
