find & replace one file in multiple folders

I have been looking for an app that will allow me to search for and replace a single file that exists in multiple sub-folders in a network location. I don’t care if the app is free (open source) or pay since this is for work purposes. So far, I have not found anything close to what I want…

No details no help, we are not psychic. What OS? What type of network share? Are you replacing/updating the entire file, or just a line?

sounds more like a “script” than an app that you want
try also posting in “programming” section asking for a ” ‘find & replace files in multiple folders’ script or app”

Sorry about that, Windows, of course, And no idea what type of network share, for a corporate Windows-based network. No, not just a line, there are hundreds of GUI tools that do that, I am trying to update an Adobe Reader installer files (EXE) in over 50 folders. I just want be able to located and update all EXE files in all folders in one simple swift action.

Yeah, I suspect you are right. I have seen some hints about that in my searches but being that is is company network, and I am not confident about the IT guy, I was hoping for a GUI solution.
