Fallout New Vegas choppy gameplay
August 5th, 2016
intel dual core p8400
4 gigs of ddr3 dual channel
W7 x64 If anyone needs more information my laptop is the Gateway p-7805u fx series
Just wondering if anyone with the same laptop has fixed this or anyone with a nvidia card in general. Changing my drivers are out of the question because all other drivers look like ~love~, they wash out the colors and make it look bland and its a waste of my 1920×1200 display.

Try lowering your game settings

cpu speed should not be a problem since fallout 3 with the same settings ran flawlessly and from what I understand FNV runs off the same engine.
Try lowering your game settings
have lowered game settings to low with game still choppy, its def not a case of trying to get too much outta what I have. Just a tidbit more info I think im using dox 180.81 drivers from laptopvideo2go
also can i say could you run fallout 3 fine ? if you ran fallout 3 fine i dont see my previous statement being correct
I have read alot of people having the same problems with the game. Patch is supposed to come out on the 22nd, but it will suck if I have to play the game gimped for another couple of days. Research has said something about the npcs eating up too much memory.
Going to bed hopefully I can wake up to a fix.

I’m having the same issue, my specs are well over the recommended and Fallout 3 ran fine but when I turn my camera my game is extremely choppy.
Edit: Using Nvidia also.
