Fallout 3 mods, do they work on New Vegas?

Does anyone know if mods applied to Fallout 3 will work with New Vegas? Im downloading NV now but I have an awesome bullet time mod on fallout 3, any chance it will work on New Vegas?
Any help much appreciated!

ps; if they don’t, they’ll sure make an update for the new game, but it may take a while

they have to be converted or ported first.

I hope it does work, New Vegas is exactly the same as F3 but just new sounds/textures. It looks to me like a standalone expansion….
