Enhancing Video/Audio Quality
October 10th, 2013
I have a Athlon II 64 X4 @ 2.8ghz
6 GB DDR 2
Windows 7 x64
and a ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5
What can I use?
What did you use to record it?
In what way do you wish to alter it?
If you want to turn some low resolution camera phone video into some Hi Def video which a Hollywood director/producer would be proud of then you are hoping for too much.
Altering the colour, brightness and contrast and maybe reducing a colour component which is over saturated can be done. Some noise reduction and/or sharpening is also possible but won’t make that big a difference.
So what do you want to do with it and why?
I recorder it with my Camcorder app on my phone which has it in 480p. I want to make it clearer. Just for personal use, and uploading. Do you know of any good software?
Filmmakers record the capture with cameras that provide high range of resolutions and they improve it from the original capture (like transforming it to high definition). Nowadays they dont need that because they use exactly the hi def equipments
but for a record by a phone cam, you can retouch a little. Because Source (of video) is important…
None that I can recommend because I do it manually and for most they want an easy one click solution.
Here are a list of applications which can edit video and might do what you want. Someone might be able to recommend one of the big appz that could do what you want. It’s probably in this list.

What is the file type of the recorded video because that could limit what you can use. Appz might not be able to open it.
It’s 3GP. I just went to a Bush & Chevelle concert a few nights ago and recorded what I could, and I was just wanting to clear it up a little bit, and smooth out the audio a tad bit. If I have to do it frame by frame, I’m down.
