Dungeon Siege on win vista/7 x64

Hello, i’ve got a problem with the framerate in Dungeon Siege, im running it on windows 7 x64, i am aware that this game isnt supported. I did the trick with graphic fix included in every topic with game links here, and I am able to run Dungeon Siege, but the FPS cant get higher than 30.0, usually its ’round 25.0 during gameplay, in main menu it’s at 60.0.
So my question is, has anybody figured out how to get this game to 60.0 – 75.0 FPS on x64 win7 OS? On the same computer, but with windows XP, the game runs fine at 60.0 fps.

I’ve tried installing DX9.0c, running in compatibility mode, but all has failed so far.
For comparison, Dungeon Siege 2, game also by Microsoft runs just fine.

wow “60.0 – 75.0 FPS on x64 win7 OS”! dude first off you need some serious grafix cards and system, I think it’s the windows somw how win Vista and up the expectation are high, like moving to DDR 3 and PCI express and all that!
