Do i have to install the BF2 1.41 Update again?

So i installed BF2 then the most recent update 1.41 =)
Now i want to install the Special Forces expansion pack, do i have to reinstall the BF2 1.41 patch?
Also (to australian players), are there still Australian players?

Yes you will have to reinstall it. Because the SF will set your patch back to an older version to install it. Kind of stinks, but ya gotta do it. Also if you have any strange glitches, like crashing to desktop. You should reinstall the 1.4 patch again and it should fix the issues.
