DDR2 / DDR Ram [SOLVED] [DONT WORK]

I have a laptop with 256mb DDR ram in, I have a spare 1gb DDR2 ram sitting around, Could i put the 1gb DDR2 ram into my laptop ?
Any help would be greatfull!

Umm, i’m pretty sure laptop ram is different to normal ram, so I’m pretty sure you cant do that
Also you cant put DDR2 ram in a motherboard/lappy which can only take the original DDR Ram
DDR2 has different pins compared to DDR

Hehe, sorry mate, just invest in some laptop DDR ram, pretty sure they’re very cheap these days ..

I jus had a look inside my laptop, The ram inside my laptop is smaller than the 1gb one i have
