Computer problems…

February 3rd, 2020

Ok long story short, I screwed up my computer. Whenever it starts up it goes to a menu of operating systems to start up listing of:
Windows XP Professional
Ubuntu
Windows XP Professional Setup
If I choose Windows XP, it freezes completely.
If I choose Ubuntu, it says it fails to load.
If I choose Windows XP Setup, its says “Setup is inspecting your computer’s hardware configuration…”
I tried to change to “Boot from disc first” option to attempt to re-install XP but it sits there for a few minutes and jsut goes to the screen listed above.
Any idea how to fix it at all?

a quick fix no questions asked, cheap, just remove hard drive, stick it in a friends comp, format it and install XP on there, and then move it back to your pc. if theres still a problem, its most likely the hardware.

Alright thanks.
Answer #3
Uhhh…? Thats definately hardware.
Try fresh install, but you’d have to put in a friends computer, with his HDD in aswell, so he can program the software to wipe your HDD. Since you cant access it, you need to make it a secondary drive to enable you to use software upon
