CD Burner randomly stopped working?

Well I have been burning movies/music CD’s day after day now for Christmas presents and well…. some reason its not working now. My sister hopped onto my computer to burn a CD and now whenever I go to burn something, it comes up as “insert a blank media”.

Or borrow from a friend…you have probably burned it to death…

Well, are you sure the CD’s are actually empty? i highly doubt you’re sister just destroyed you’re CD/DVD burner…

Whatever came with my Dell Dimension 5150 back in October 05. Bout 3 months after I got the computer I had to get a new one from Dell cause this one stopped.

I have a 100 stack of blank DVD’s and 20 stack of blank CD’s just sitting beside me and unless they all screwed up at the same time, then I think its a burner problem.
Well last time I opened my case, I saw an extra slot below the DVD burner, just wondering if I would be able to buy 2 DVD burners and keep em both in there for future use and/or copying CD’s/DVD’s?
