Cant Create PSN ID?

I went online on the Playstation website and clicked the ‘Sign up for Playstation Network’. And it gave me an error saying….
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /accounts/register/beginNewAccountRegistrationFlow.action on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I tried it in FireFox and in IE, still no luck
Any help guys?

Is the Playstation Network down, coz i went on the PSN app on my iPhone and it said something like ‘the page cant load as the Playstation Network is down for maintenance’ can someone confirm this?

looks like it’s currently down
if you go to
http://uk.playstation.com
you can see the status of the PSN (a small circle) near the Sign up/Sign in
it’s currently yellow and it says “Partially available”.
when it’s fully running it will definitely change to green

The PSN store is currently down to maintenance, they usually prohibit the creation of accounts during this time.
