Canon mp495 printer not responding
August 2nd, 2016
So I did a quick test and printed one page wirelessly which worked fine. Then the next night I tried to print a page wirelessly and using the USB connection I kept getting a “printer not responding” error message so I kept trying to print over and over again eventually it worked. Now again tonight I wanted to print another few pages and I keep getting the “printer not responding” message again but it’s not giving me any reason as to why the printer isn’t working. When I select the printer in microsoft word it says the printer is online. So please can someone help me because I will need to use the printer and scanner a lot over the next few days.

Thanks yeah I have tried google all of the suggestions I found didn’t work. I already have the print set up properly and it’s showing up the wifi which is what that video is about it just refuses to print any pages and won’t give any reason as to why it’s not working.
Please can someone help with this extremely frustrating problem still constantly getting a “printer not responding” message every time I try to print even had someone over to the house to look at it and they didn’t know what was wrong. Please somebody help me before I smash the printer to pieces.
Anybody???
try unplugging the power cord for 10 minutes, then try again. if that don’t work, it needs service at a service center.
Thanks for the reply tried that already it’s working fine with other laptops it’s just mine that it won’t work with.

ok, you didn’t mention that. you can try system file checker then, perhaps a needed file on that laptop is missing, or got messed up. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
then install the canon driver from the CD that came with the printer.
Tried already have installed the program 4 different times
