What browser? What operating system? Is the PC clean from malware/viruses? Provide some details and I can provide some assistance.
EDIT: You should try another browser before posting back, and give results. I recommend Firefox.
Answer #2
If you’re using Firefox, use greasemonkey and a greasemonkey script.
Greasemonkey:

Linkify: (script to make links click-able)

You would be much better off using an anti-virus solution with “real time protection”. You only need to run a scan once, when you install it, and then it scans all incoming/outgoing files all the time in the background. Just make sure it is set to download and install new definitions regularly.
