Can I Run it? – Laptop user asking about cool games
January 25th, 2020
I have a Samsung R610 laptop, these are the specs:
Intel Centrino 2 Core 2 Duo T5800 2GHz – 16″ – 3GB DDR2 SDRAM – 250GB HDD –
Graphics Controller Manufacturer: nVIDIA
Graphics Controller Model: GeForce 9200M GS
Graphics Memory Capacity: 512MB
Running Windows 7 RC.
I tried the website that comes up in google if you type “can i run it” and it showed me that GTA4 would work on minimum reqs, but once I downloaded it on here and installed I wasn’t playing even with 1000X700 resolution and everything on low/off etc.
So the website won’t work for me, but I do want to download cool games and play them.
I can run sims3 on almost highest specs and Medieval Total war 2.
So please, advise me what cool games can I play?
Can I run fallout 3, assassins creed or Empires Total War?
I’m really into rpg games etc as you can see, but I don’t want to download over 15 GB of a game just to find out that I can’t play it.
Any advice appreciated.
The performance of a laptop is not the same as a desktop’s, even if the specs are same. I’ve always felt the SystemRequirements Lab’s guide is more like a good direction post rather than absolute statement on playing high-end games and that too for desktops. Your specs are really good, but hard luck on GTA4.
” Can I run fallout 3, assassins creed or Empires Total War? ” yes you can play with high configs…. I recommed Fallout 3 to you =) or play “Two Worlds” it’s a perfect rpg game.[ ~9GB ]

Usure? Okay then, I’ll go for fallout 3 for now as I love the game in general, lets hope you’re right
