Can I delete the contents of the drivertemp folder in windows 7

I was looking to free up some space and noticed the drivertemp folder in C:drivertemp it is over 3 gb and the folders inside date back into early 2014..please advise.

I presume you have used a program which updates your drivers automatically? That folder isnt a proper windows folder so you can delete it, it was created by a 3rd party application of some kind.
