Buying a new notebook
January 29th, 2020
I can’t remember the last time I bought a new laptop so I’m thinking it’s time to buy one! Though, I not too tech savvy so not really sure what is a good deal and what isn’t. My budget is $800 however happy to go over it a little if need be lol.
So far this is the one I am going for, http://~ Direct links only ~/FQzjNG Any recommendations or advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
Avoid HP/Compaq, go for Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo in your order of preference. Check internet for any specific problem with the model you select. That should be it, in a nutshell.

Sorry, But I just don’t see the logic behind that one!
Forget about how old it is. Are you satisfied with it? That’s the question you should be asking yourself!
If you aren’t, Then go for it. But if you are, Then it’d be a waste of money (As you could spend it on something else, That will actually benefit you in some way!) So far this is the one I am going for
Provide the actual (non-protected) link for it.
FYI, There’s no need to protect it (That’s only useful when making topics in one of the listing sections)
What are you gonna use it for btw? Gaming grade laptops are generally more expensive than others.
Also, Just wondering, Are you actually gonna move it around from time to time or is it just a fetish?
I mean, Some people have this strange obsession with laptops, And will always prefer em over desktops (Regardless to actual needs and purposes). Desktops are generally superior to laptops, And will always provide you with better hardware for the same amount of money (Or even less!) so they’re more practical if it’s just gonna sit there by a desk.
short response; I am not satisfied with it.
I was under the impression it was a shorten linked not a protected link but he is the actual link http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toshiba-Satellite-Pro-L50-15-6-Core-i5-4GB-750GB-Nvidia-GT740-Win7-8-Gaming-/111292881221?
I really don’t have the room for a desktop plus I do move around a bit with it. Not a whole lot but I still do

Wow I was going to say the same thing. HP is the absolute worst. Toshiba, Dell and Lenovo are all pretty reliable.
For $800 he or she may be able to get a 750gb to 1tb hd, i5 or i7 processor and 8gb of ram.
there are way too many options lol. Since everyone is mentioning Toshiba I think I might stick with the one on top of my list (the only one on my list haha) which was http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toshiba-Satellite-Pro-L50-15-6-Core-i5-4GB-750GB-Nvidia-GT740-Win7-8-Gaming-/111292881221
I think that the particular Toshiba you have shown me is overpriced but then again I do not know the Australian exchange rate.
I was thinking specs along these lines http://www.bestbuy.com/site/inspiron-15-6-laptop-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive/3979179.p?id=1219094929831&skuId=3979179&st=pcmcat138500050001_categoryid$abcat0502000&cp=1&lp=1
