Bush Sound Bar

April 23rd, 2023

Just bought a Bush CBAR6BT Sound bar with Subwoofer, connects with digital coaxial and digital optical. Connected digital optical cable to sound bar and Humax recorder. this has left digital coaxial, one lead with red and white on one end and black the other end. Can anyone tell me how to connect these cables from the sound bar to my LG television.
Thanks

See what options it says in the instruction book about connecting to TV….Should show you some example diagrams..?
I read a few reviews about it, and some say they connected to TV via headphone socket (an analogue input). (See Below)
Does the unit have switch over for 2 different inputs (TV or Humax) ?
EDIT..
Probably all that you would do with it is to connect it directly to the TV’s optical output.
No need to connect it to anything else, because all selected sound will come via the TV anyhow..
Here is a customer review..
A pretty decent piece of kit, but it's not as good as I had hoped. The bass is not brilliant, but that said, the sound quality is by no means 'bad' and it is certainly better than most TVs have on board. The bluetooth is the biggest plus, almost everything electronic I own can now stream to better speakers than they used to and, what is not obvious from the product description, on top of the digital inputs there are stereo RCA and 3.5mm mini jack analogue connections which come in handy too.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Thanks no headphone jack on television, tried connect to tv optical but no sound.

You disconnected other devices?
Maybe TV has options in it’s menu for turning on optical digital sound (toslink)
Or sound type…normally PCM..
