Buging flash card for NDS XL

Hi guys how are you doing?
I just purchased a NDS XL for my son. I want to buy a flashcard to put games on it and movies for him to watch.
From what I read, it seems Acekard 2i is better and more stable than r4.
Is this right?
If it is, what kind of firmware of whatever it is called do I need to put on it to play the games and watch movies? and do movies need to be in a certain format?

i use a dstwo cart, plays all games and movies. no need for any video converting either

does it work with DSI XL? I only bought it like 3 weeks ago. Do I need to downgrade firmware of anything?

you just copy the dstwo eos once onto a micro sd flash card along with the games you want, plug it into the dstwo cart which in turn go’s into your dsi.
