blue screen of death :S

January 21st, 2020

after formating my laptop, i was just on the internet, music etc. then suddenly i get a blue screen of death all blurred up and too quick to see, then it just restarts. after it restarts it comes up with a error it says system 32\drivers\nfts.sys is missing or corrupted.
it also says that i have to put in the windows cd and press r. but the windows cd i downloaded from here doesn’t have a repair button.
does anyone know ny soloutions? and it does start to work sometimes, as im on it now.

Answer #1
the windows disc u downloaded was probably a version like TinyXP, etc They take out stuff so its smaller. You need the full XP like a corporate edition one
Answer #2
Looks liek you have to reinstall Windows from the looks of things, or you can find the exact file they are missing, download it and replace it with the current missing/corrupt file.
If I were you, I’d download windows, burn it to disk, wipe your HDD, fresh install windows and a crack CD key, and everything is smooth sailing from there
Answer #3
I agree – at this point, a repair MAY work, but, since you haven’t invested too much yet, you might as well just reinstall, again.
Answer #4
it was the full version i believe.
should i just reinstall?
is there any website where i can find this file?
Answer #5
Just serahc for Windows XP or Windows Vista on .org
