Blue-Ray Movies

July 25th, 2016

Hello,
Im alittle new to this, so be gentle. When a title says 1080p blue-ray *TITLE of MOVIE*, does this mean I can only burn it to a blue-ray disk to get the 1080p quality? Also, do I need a different media player to play the video in blue-ray?

blu-ray! i use GOM for my media player, but many universal players (like VLC and others) will play anything. burning something i cannot say because i never burn anything any more. you don’t necessarily have to burn it onto a blu-ray disc, but you need to burn it onto something that will hold on the extra data. like maybe a DL disc, but some of those movies are not compressed, so they will be 10-30GB sometimes. Your DVD player will ultimately need to support the type of file you end up with – or just play the file on your computer with GOM.
if a video is 1080p, burning it to different discs will not change the resolution. compressing the video can. not burning.

Hi there…
but can you copy the downloaded movie (blu-ray) on a blu-ray disk, using a Blue-ray drive. Thus mimicing original blu-ray disks? And another question if you would like to ans please… Is there an HDMI out card that connects to the motherboard? … just like a LAN card..?
cheers
