Blue error screen
August 5th, 2016
is there any way to freeze that moment te see which error it is ?
thanks in advacne
not to my knowledge but sounds like it could be a corrupt HDD…
But if the HD would be corrupt i wouldn’t get the loading bar thing, or am I wrong?
Then I should get the error in the begin, I still can choose the startup options etc

I think you must set up new OS
Take a video and just pause it at the blue screen.
THe problem is, it is a compaq mini 700 which hasnt got a cd/dvd reader…
Other option is USB stick, but I got some important documents on it, so I want to solve the problem without reinstalling the OS..

You can hook the HDD up to another computer to back up your documents.
well i had a Eee mini and this happened…would start up xp loading screen then blue screen…i hooked it up to a external dvd/cd drive and tried to reinstall and it says it couldnt access the HDD
Hmmm, then i guess i need to try to install os from a usb drive, and if that not helps send it back to compaq, i still have waranty i guess.
