Best Way to clean A Laptop Keyboard?
January 25th, 2020
Thx
I use a hairdryer too clean mine
just use a vaccum cleaner
and blow away the dust!
you can unclick all the keys (press them down and click them open from the downside)
you should be carefull though … the keys are attached with little pins that can easily break
I can’t attach my “tab”-key after cleaning my keyboard twice
Thanks for the Idea you guys….I appreciate it!!
Little Pins on the keys? I didnt know that hmm.
or compressed airs good
depends on how tight ur keys are together
i use compressed air.
i should prolly go buy some…thx
Endust is a great duster for hard to reach electronic places.
I use it for my keyboards all the time, the laptop keyboards are a bit harder than pc’s, but still workable.
(Also if you turn the dusters upside down, and spray… a leaf or something, it will get very cold and be able to freeze things , this is actually used for computers sometimes, to cool down the boards, but i don’t advise you do it to your computer XD)
thx for the idea mate
if the keys are sticking most KB’s are ok to remove and soak in dish soap water
then rinse thoroughly and use the hair dryer and let dry for a day or so then reinstall
some laptop keys can be very hard to reinstall so remove them only if absolutely necessary
If your just trying to get rid of dust get one of these:
