Best .flac to mp3 converter?

January 25th, 2020

I prefer my entire music library be in MP3’s at 320kbps and some albums I simply can’t find at that quality, but I can find .flac rips sometimes and they’re HUGE (obviously), so I’d imagine converting songs to 320kbps MP3’s from .flac would maintain the quality I’m looking for, while also making them smaller in file size… I just want to make sure I use the BEST flac to mp3 converter… anyone have ANY help they can provide?
Thanks for any and all help!

I like dbpoweramp.

dBpoweramp works for me. Easy to use, too.

Yes, dbpoweramp is a recommended converter.
Another one, especially for flac, is Flacsquisher..

Thanks a lot guys… I always download albums in MP3 that are 320kbps, like I mentioned above. So will this “dbpoweramp” convert the flac albums I’ve got to the normal 320kbps quality MP3’s that I’m used to?

Or you could give the simple, lightweight, free and open-source LameDropXPd (which uses the same encoding engine dbpoweramp uses) a try.

Right click the UI and select ‘encoding options’.

The select ‘bitrate’ and enter ‘320’ while check-marking the CBR option. Image
Drag and drop the FLAC files and you can convert them to MP3. That ought to do it. Cheers.
