Which is the best
is it freeware or do i need to download it from here

I always use Diskeeper 2011, just leave it running in the background. You should be able to get it here if you can find a working link.

There are a lot of options, Disk Defrag, Defraggler…
You can also use the one that comes with Windows.

I use O&O Defrag. Any defrag program will do though.

Am I the only one who use STOCK WINDOWS defrag??? lol. In 7 and vista you dont even have to do nothing becouse it runs automatically

Try this its free. It defrags faster than the stock defragmenter and has boot time defrag:

I too use the built in defraf in 7. I used Diskkeeper for awhile, the one that runs in the background all the time and it messed with my system. All the other defraggers out there basically do the same thing as the one in Windows.

Assuming you are running Windows the best is also probably the oldest and definitely the simplest – Spinrite!
Have used it for probably 20 years and never even a hiccup.
