DJ Software

Can you please tell me what software is required for Pro Mobil Dj’ing using a
Laptop instead of Hardware and masses of disks using Mp3’s etc.
This is to save on the amount of gear carried, i’m sure there must be Dj’s using this equipment now.
Any advice will be very handy.

i use Virtual DJ its very nice has everything i need has a very good recorder lots of effects there is also a mixer that they make for it (usb) hopefully i should get it after Christmas btw you can download this from here http://www.google.com?t=590724 just go to Post 06 – Digital DJ and download Atomix Virtual DJ Professional 5.0.0 its the newest one but there is others as well i have tried to use Traktor DJ Studio 3 but it crashes and is very hard i couldn’t even load a song lol hope this helps
Yes virtual DJ is good. Also PCDJ which you can get a numark controller for too. I havnt actually seen Virtual DJ used in a club environment before, but I see it get recommended on the forums alot.
