Been Given this Graphics Card

Today a friend gave me a Ge Force 250 GTS with a 2708mb memory
im guessing thats a 2.7gb memory ?
is it good for gaming.
my pc now stands at
i3 Processor 2.3 ghz (4 Cpu’s)
4gb Ram
how long you reckon i could play new releases for until an upgrade with that g card ?

umm, no GTS 250 comes with 2.7gbs. It’s probably just a 1gb ddr3.
It’s okay, it can play all games, but lacks DX11.
This card may last 1-2 more years, as it probably can only new games at medium.

well i played mw3 on high and bf3 on medium but i hear bf3 uses alot of system resources anyway because of the detail
skyrim is on medium but still looks nice

you Need Upgrade your GPU. GPU was not good for upcoming games. MW3 run high also my 9500GT card. MW3 and MW2 Engine was same.
