or this

K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

DO NOT USE THIS!!!!!!!
This should be banned. You do not need this pile of crap.
Codec packs are totally unnecessary and cause more harm than anything else. I used to make the mistake of installing Multi Mega Over-inflated EverythingButTheKitchenSink Codec packs and they frequently caused codec conflicts and other problems which prevented playback.
So do yourself a favour and forget that URL.
All you need is ffdshow. That will play most video formats very well and fast. If you are encoding then use XDiv. This is basically all I use apart from CoreAVC, a splitter and real and quicktime only when I need to play them back. I only have CoreAVC installed at the moment apart from ffdshow and XDiv.
That should playback the majority of the formats you download fast, quick and lean and without the bloat or problems you can get with codec packs.
Answer #12
Yeeah, you missing a codec. There is a way to find out, go to webhelp and find out which one
