any news on xbox 360 emulator?

February 2nd, 2020

I’ve read some old threads on xbox 360 emulators that are 4 years old, and at the time it was a pipe dream that looked as if it were never going to happen..
now there are a number of sites claiming they have working emulators, but that’s how it was years ago,
just wondering if anyone has tried any and the status report on them. thanks

I have done some searches through Google, and what I have found are dead-end offers and spams using shells of a possibly working program, such as…
pcx360emulator.com/
The above will get you some fake files that looks like a program. Upon firing up the actual EXE, it’ll tell you there is an update. You hit yes, it’ll bring you to one mirror with some crud offers asking for personal information, hit no will bring you to another cruddy site with poor offers, and hit cancel just closes the whole thing down.
So there are some pretty impressive looking scams, but nothing of the sort is working as of yet.
It took them nearly 7 years to make a working PS2 Emulator, and even then, the way the Power PC architecture works, they cannot emulate it to x86/x64 without severe instability, hardware needed to run the PS2 Emulator was 6-8x more powerful than the PS2 itself, and I would assume the same for PS3/Xbox360.
The youtube videos I’ve seen, are screen recordings of an actual Xbox360, then played in a fake GUI program made to look like an emulator. If you notice, none go into fullscreen.
So case in point, give it a few more years, and maybe something will be released once Microsoft manages to make an emulator for the Xbox One to allow reverse compatibility. (Source is rumored on Google)
