What antivirus for gaming?
Answer #1
i use Kaspersky and games still work flawless.
totally depends on your specs.
Answer #2
If you want something light and deadly.
Avast!
Answer #3
If your not a moron, don’t use any AV, you don’t need one.
If your a pro gamer, the last thing you want is some random windows or av update going on during a game since some tournaments and tourney qualifiers are done at your home PC.
I tried AV’s for a good 4 years, and all I ever did was disable them, and disable them some more. Never once have I had a virus, and I have been using a computer since 1993.
Answer #4
1993? Those were the dinosaur computers I remember that game… Oregon Trail or something like that

Answer #8
There isn’t really a better antivirus for gaming. Rule of thumb. The lighter the better. AV tests shows that Avira and Avast are up there. AVG is good but it’s a bulky program.
Answer #9
Eset is pretty light-weight, you can try that. If you want more performance get something like Game Booster.
Answer #10
Security programs do come with gaming modes, you just have to activate them to benefit.
Answer #11
I do a lot of gaming, both offline and online… I personally use AVAST Free Edition & SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition.

Not all of them has them. And definitely not the one I prefer to use.
Answer #13
Actually avast has a gaming mode which will disable all alerts and updates and will basically become non-existent. It will using almost no resources monitor anything that seems suspicious. As soon as you put it into gaming mode run the game right after and it will leave that alone. Works great, we have been tournaments for a while now since avast first came out with game mode and it works flawlessly.
Answer #14
I’d recommend Kaspersky or BitDefender.
Answer #15
Gaming mode is available in kasperssky and bitdefender and also avg also use them
