Hotmail to ThunderBird ?

Hey guys i am trying to see if i can set up thunderbird to my hotmail account.. is this possible? I have briefly googled it apparently you can and you can’t? any help much appreciated..

failing that youll have to use the e-mail software provided by microsoft called windows live:

yeah you have to get a hotmail addon for thunderbird, i used it before and will say it works well. Now i just use windows live mail that comes with the new windows live messenger which works good if i may add
