Windows Vista & Real Media

I got Windows vista, and now i have some problems with files rmvb. when i got xp, i got klite codec pack and everithing was fine… Now, i used vista codec pack but some stupid white squares blink on my screen during the entire movie… Please someone help me????

Try using VLC. It might play rmvb files better than a different player. You can get it here:

personally i would change the file extension to .avi and watch it on windows media player

Because it analyzes whats in the file and selects the right codec…doesn’t just go by extension apparently..Have tried it with Nero type .mp4 files and it worked OK

I only said change the extension so that you can try watching it in windows media player to find out if the problem was with your real player.
