Burner Burns Discs Too Fast. I just got a new burner and I set the speed for 2.4x on imgburn and clonecd for xbox 360 backup. It always says burn average 4x. Then, I try to play it and it only starts up half of the time. How can I make sure the burner burns it slower. I degraded the firmware to the orginial then upgraded it to the latest 1. I just had my computer wiped. thanks

try using nero burning rom to burn the images. it allows you to select slow speeds

Your burner/media only supports burning in 4x

that is not true the first time I used the burner it was burning 2.4x DL memorex discs. I am planning on buying a different brand.

You might have to set the write speed to a lower value…
Can’t set it to ‘1x’ or ‘2x’ in the parameters on the right side ?
