Difference Between PSP and Playstation 2

You can only play the games that were designed for PSP.
Just a few years ago, Sony allowed PS emulation on the PSP so you can play Playstation games. You could also play some homebrew games and software. Of course your console needs to be unlocked.

the ps2 and ps3 have tons more buttons, the psp has 6 buttons the ps2 and ps3 have 10 buttons, that means games made for the ps2 wont work on the psp, since it does not have analog which most ps2 games require, but you can play ps1 games on your psp, you can also play nes,snes, genesis, gba games on your psp after you hack it, although you will need a older generation psp since the newer ones are unhackable, the newer slims cant play downloaded psp games only ps1 due to a hack.
