Extracting Videos with werid format

right, this one got me confused.. i have the film death sentence for example and it has 8 split archives which are displayed like so
death.sentence.dvdrip.xvid-imbt.avi.002
they have no file exstension .rar etc and it dosent seem to extract and when i add .rar to all the files it gives me a error saying corrupt file… this has happend a few times any 1 got any ideas?

Why did you want to rename the files?
Just rename them back to what they were and download HJSplit. You can find it on google. Then use it to join the files into one movie file. That’s it. Good luck mate ^_^

As indicates, HJSplit is used to join files that end in 001, 002, 003, and so on. . . (HJSplit can also split the Avi file). . . In your case, HJSplit will join your .001,.002 etc, files and this will give you the full Avi file that had been previously split for uploading . . . HJSplit is free and very simple to use, it is an old software that still works fine
