bump? its urgent guys
1) I own an ipod 5.5 80gig , and It last for about 1 week , I listen my ipod 2-3 hrs a day , what take much battery is when your ipod is full and you boot it each time you open it .. (it close itself after 12hrs of inactivity I think)
I’m very satisfied with the battery lenght .. and it charge pretty fast (30min-1hours) from 35%
2) when you boot it up , you can feel it a little but when listening music i’m pretty sure you don’t feel it , still I have an flip over case in leather so it help to don’t feel anything and it’S a very good protection for the ipod
if you want to hide stuff in the ipod , just drag drop the file on the ipod and with a hide program such as Folder lock , just lock the file in your ipod (BE SURE that your ipod have always the same letter when connecting to your computer)
s/w h/w ? .. well don’t let your ipod always open .. maybe put the backlight to 0 (seriously you can easily see with the backlight at 0)
charging .. I do it when I want , still I don’t have problem with it and buy a case that might protect your ipod
mine is similar to this one

thnx a lot……..
s/w= short form for software and h/w is hardware
btw should i register on apple website? will this affect warranty?
thnx again
register on apple website , I don’t know if it’s giving you more quality service .. or else.. so .. just take a warranty at the store if you are afraid .. but normally if you take care of your object you buy .. you shouldn’t have a problem , mine is still working fine the software I use is the default one : Itune , different to work with , but you get to it pretty fast
