Diff. betn ipod & iphone-bulit-in-ipod

Just wanted to know if there is any difference between an “ipod” & “the ipod that comes with an iphone” in terms of sound quality or some other features. Reason i am asking this question is i rem some friend of mine told me that the standalone ipod sounds better. well..i did not get a chance to verify that. so, may be u guys can answer this better.

I have an iPhone and an iPod Nano.
The only difference I’ve felt is that, due to the iPhone being a phone, it lasted a bit shorter even compared to an iPod Touch.
There shouldn’t be any difference anyway.
The only diffrence is the speaker. The iPhone speaker is better then the ipod touch speaker

If you want to listen music, and want quality, you’re not going to use the speaker anyway
