pc shuts down unexpectedly
January 29th, 2020
I have a problem with my pc, it shuts down unexpectedly but I noticed it first makes noisy sound when CPU usage comes to 90% and above then it shuts down and it gives me blue screen with system fatal error and it start working normally after three or four times of restarting the PC.
OS: Windows Vista Business sp2
RAM: 3GB
I updated the windows to the latest update.
any help to solve my problem will be appreciated
CPU might be overheating and shutting itself down. It’s a safety precaution.
check ur CPU cooler m8!!!!!!
Could be your CPU overheating, check for dust buildup on the heatsinks.
What does the Blue Screen error say?
Really, it depends a lot on this
Can you take the side off and see where the “noise” comes from?
Is it maybe a fan or the hard drive, etc?
What I can suggest you is to buy a new CPU Fan mate, your CPU seems to be overheated. Can you post some temperatures during the time when the computer is on?
I cleaned it but the problems still happens. I have weird thing I thought might help you to solve the problem. when I checked the system info I found the following:
Total physical memory: 2.87 GB
Available Physical Memory: 872 MB
is it normal? can I increase the Physical Memory?
pls let us know ur processor & CPU temperature???(idle & load )
I used Core Temp to find out the CPU temperature:
ur processor temp is too high!! I think ur processor is overheating !!! pls change ur stock CPU cooler!!!!
and also use CPUZ to confirm this temperatures !!!
http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
for idle mode yea thats pretty high for ur temperature
replace ur thermal paste first to see if that makes a difference
otherwise get a new fan
I got this info from the program you gave me
Hardware monitor Fintek F8000
Voltage 0 1.68 Volts [0xD2] (VIN0)
Voltage 1 1.66 Volts [0xD0] (VIN1)
Voltage 2 1.53 Volts [0xBF] (VIN2)
Temperature 0 44C (111F) [0x2C] (TMPIN0)
Temperature 2 58C (136F) [0x3A] (TMPIN2)
Fan 0 2591 RPM [0x243] (FANIN0)
Fan 1 1584 RPM [0x3B3] (FANIN1)
Hardware monitor ACPI
Temperature 0 58C (136F) [0xCF0] (THRM)
Hardware monitor AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+
Temperature 0 71C (159F) [0x78] (Core #0)
Temperature 1 76C (168F) [0x7D] (Core #1)
i think its overheating buddy..

how to replace it and how much does it cost?
thermal paste is pretty cheap jsut get it from ur local IT shop and get instructions from the net on how to apply it im not sure bout fans but they are pretty cheap too and ur local IT shop should sell them
just be carefull tthat the fan u get it for ur computer ie its the rite size
thank you very much all of you. I will replace the thermal paste first and then cpu cooler

Whenever you take your heatsink off, you should replace the thermal paste
Also Intel says that every time your processor goes over 70 you lose 1yr of its life span, so be careful.

Yeah that’s maybe true for intel but most AMD’s older processors runs at hight temperature and are not good for overclocking
Yea most likely it overheating and its shutting down as a safety precaution
