it has a dedicated gpu (which is what i want in the case of gaming, or at least so ive heard) and if i need to do some upgrading to the cpu or gpu, please feel free to suggest what i should upgrade to =]
I’ve coded the link(s) for you this time – if you don’t know how to do it, please check the sticky thread in the helpdesk section.

The Lenovo Y570 goes for around $750 and has a GPU twice as fast as the 540M.

-paroxysM^ may be right about the video card being better, but twice as fast? Not really.
The Asus is a better buy, because it’s not primarily designed as a business machine which Is Lenovo’s forte. Asus make what are widely regarded as the most reliable. despite NewEgg’s offer of a 2 year warranty, open the box when you get it (I hope it’s in the store) and check the warranty card from Asus. It should have at least one year + a year’s accidental damage. But look at the warranty book, the ones we sell state that if you register them within 60 days you’ll get 3 +3 – best warranty out there and it’s free!
Hope this helps. All due respect to -paroxysM^ but the Asus is a better buy. I have both in my store where I work
