Best registry cleaner/repair program?
January 24th, 2020
I use ~ Rogue Software BANNED ~, it works well
EDIT: Works well for cleaning, not so sure about repairing because my laptop doesn’t usually need repairing
WinTools.net Pro (Reg cleaner plus more)
Registry First Aid (Reg cleaner)
Ace Utilities (Reg cleaner Plus more)
uniblue work well
would tuneup utitilies work too?
Thanks for some of the post I am actually going to try some.
i like pcdoc pro, it doesnt clean up as much as remove dangerous files.. as far as i know
I’d be very cautious about using this type program– make sure you make a backup in case it hoses your system.
Uniblue
Try CCLeaner. It has an option to back-up your existing registry just in case:

i got a question now, does tuneup utilities do the job as well?

It probably does ……….. some rate it but I don’t.
One thing you have to remember about registry cleaning is that there is not one single program on the market that will do a complete job.
For example:
I use Registry First Aid, then Wintools.net Pro, then Ace Utilities.
You’d expect Registry First Aid to do a complete job but it doesn’t because when I then run Wintools.net Pro it finds more useless keys. After running those I run Ace Utilities which will find even more useless keys.
It’s really a case of combining a couple of cleaners ……….. just try a few out then stick with the ones that you like.

Yes, It’s a good safe file and reg cleaner
Also run CCleaner regularly to clean junk files and reg issues..
Registry Mechanic seems to work fine for me.
I use Windowscare personal V2, it’s an AIO reg cleaner, startupmanager and more. It has the highest test ratings for registry cleaners, and what’s better: it free! I also allows you to create a restore point before cleaning.
