What are the best registry cleaning program?
August 4th, 2016
I need some advice on what program out there is the best Registry Cleaner, I have tryed so many, Registry Mechanic, TuneUp, etc. However, I just can’t seem to figure which is the best. I have also visited many sites. They just aren’t really solidly helpful in any shape or form.
Appreciate it…
Thanks
Kindest Regards.
anyone care to join in and help ? Please do not double post, use the edit button -Zenova
IMO is better not using programs about registry..
rarely you can use Registry mechanic
How can you not use Registry cleaners, I mean the registry after a lot of installing/uninstalling will surely get cluttered and needs to be treated.
Any other good programs?
Thanks though… All the best in your movie thread…
Add me on MSN if you wanna chat..
Take it easy !!!

and System Mechanic once in 6 months.
after this usage , i will uninstall them. thanks mate

Disallowed: Bumping topics continuously to get them up to the first few pages.
K well I use ‘tune up utlitites 2008’ and you can also use ‘system machanic’.
Thanks ‘Master_X’. Used both of them before, TuneUp is a little to simple, System Mechanic, It didn’t really impress me as websites who review it predict.
Thanks anyways for your opinon… KEEP EM COMING
no problem but i do recommend tuneup utilities because it includes a registy defrag along with other goodies to make your pc run/start faster.
I think there is no best coz cleaning registery mechaninism isn’t hard. So all they Registery cleaning tools, softs aren’t big diffrenerence.
i use reg cure, easily dl’able on here. worked well for me
CCleaner
i dont get it. people ask these question. all the softwares are here. download it and try it. its not like ur going to buy it
After using a few registry cleaners I think Eusing free registry cleaner is the best Never given me any problems and makes a backup of your registry after each clean http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_cleaner/registry_cleaner.htm
And to defrag your registry NTREGOPT http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/
Thanks everyone for your help.
Judging from your reactions the best software’s are CCleaner and Tune Up / System Mechanic…
Thanks once again… Keep them coming

Greetings,
Cheers for your personal, as well as, job experience.
I should try that out, but too be honest CCleaner is pretty darn good
Thanks
I personally suggest ~ Rogue Software BANNED ~ It’s Spectacular
CCleaner. Great program and does the job pretty fast.
Registry Doctor is pretty good
Only use CCleaner its safe and effective also free. TuneUp Utilities 2008 is good but you have to LOOK at the registry keys it chooses carefully cuz they mess things up if you just delete em.

Great point. I rather not waste my time searching all the registry, while I can let CCleaner do all the job for me.
Thanks for all your contributions…
Take care
Hi, the trick to clean up your registry is using multiple registry cleaners..
One cleaner may pick up most errors, yet leave some behind.
On my computer, i use the following: CCleaner ( a must have ), Advanced System Optimizer ( rated best pc utility – TopTenReviews) and finally i use Pooster 2008 witch also does registry cleaning.
These software is what suits me and my computer best.. alternatives are Registry Mechanic, Tuneup Utilities, and such.
Combination of CCleaner and Registry Mechanic is the best for me.

I don’t know about Registry Mechanic, it doesn’t quite feel right in my PC…
As you have said mate, a combination is a good trick as some registry cleaners pick up certain things, unlike others.
Thanks…. KEEP THEM COMING !!!!
i did not recommend registry mechanic .. i mentioned ccleaner, advanced system optimizer, and poster.
WinASO ftw!
I wasn’t commenting on your view, I was stating my personal opinion on the program.
Apart from that… CCleaner is probably the best Thanks a lot.
ooh okay im sorry, i figure since you quoted my post you probably thought i said that i recommend that program…
but yeah ccleaner is great.
Put simply mate ……… there is no such thing as THE BEST registry cleaner ……….. it just doesn’t exist.
There is not a single registry cleaner on the market that will do a complete job.
Just try using one cleaner, then immediately after, use a different cleaner, than try another cleaner after that and you will see what I mean. The cleaners that follow usually pick up on something the cleaner before it left behind.
My suggestions:
Wintools.net Pro Registry First Aid
Ace Utilities jv16 PowerTools
There is no set rule as to how often you should clean out your registry. Do it every day if you feel like it, but at the very least do it once a month. The same applies to cleaning your HD (I use R-Wipe&Clean) or defragmenting (I use PerfectDisk)

Thanks for your comments and opinion on the matter.
However, all the cleaners you have mentioned I have not tryed, what would you say about CCleaner though? As the majority of the people replying here, have actually recommended that !
I personally started off with Registry Mechanic, didn’t like it.
Used Ace Utilities some decades back didn’t like it.
Advanced System Optimizer’s registry cleaner is the best according to www.toptenreviews.com, didn’t like that.
The pattern moves on, Syste Mechanic, ~ Rogue Software BANNED ~, Registry Booster etc…
I think ultimately CCleaner. Free. Efficient. lightweight.
THANKS FOR EVERYONE’S CONTRIBUTION TO THE THREAD!!!
HI?
I use always registryfix, now its vers.7
Always good performance.
Greetings
Stay away from them is my suggestion. Registry cleaning is a huge gimmick. If you know anything about how OS’s work you should know that you should actually keep away from registry cleaning. Excessive use can do more harm than good.
If you can show me a single bit of proof that cleaning your registry and removing a couple KB worth of dead entries will speed up or reduce errors from your system then fine I’ll give in. Until then I’ll stick to my belief that all of them are crap.

Where did you get that from? Depends what you define as excessive. And telling people to stay away from registry cleaners is a load of bollocks mate!
Maintenance of your OS keeps it in tiptop shape !!
I believe in benchmarks and hard evidence rather than marketing advertisements. Saying what I’ve just stated is bollocks is moronic because you cannot back them up with facts and you know it. You’re just chasing your own tail here.
Combination of CCleaner and Registry Mechanic is the best for me.
Thats what I use.
I believe in benchmarks and hard evidence rather than marketing advertisements.
I see your point, but I still prefer to use them than leave useless crap in my registry. It is true that there isn’t really any evidence that they help, but where is the evidence that they don’t? Common sense tells me its better than nothing.
But, I’ll admit I’m no expert on the subject, just another guy trying to make his computer run faster/cleaner without knowing any other way to do it

It’s been some time since posting this thread and asking all of you for your loyal and constructive analysis of a Registry cleaner! In regards with what you have said that is true, trying to figure out real, hard proof evidence of a reg cleaner that really makes a difference on system is hard to find. But all am trying to do is elimanate dead debris left in my system, because lets face it’s the same as having a dead body; day after day the body will slowly deteriorate and thus leaving smells infection etc.. The same judgment can be taken on the OS.
Right now I currently have Advance System Optimizer as my only TuneUp suite and Registry and I feel happy with that as it is TopRated in TopTenReviews. However, CCleaner is no doubt the best FREEWARE one out there!! Thanks for all your contribution guys! You can keep em coming!
