which remote pc access program is best for me?

I would like a program so when i’m on my Vista laptop at college i can access my XP home computer and vice versa, in case i forgot to transfer a file for class or just to save something to the desktop to remind me of something. I don’t know what i need, and I was wondering what the best program would be for me.

well there are 2 possibilities…first is the builtin function of windows named remote desktop connection…second is a freeware known as teamviewer try both and see what suits you the best…if you have a lower end connection however i would recommend teamviewer

TeamViewer is the one that I’m using momentarily, it works really good with different Windows OSes. Give it a shot, it has many options.

Windows Remote Desktop Connection
Real VNC
Teamviewer
All of them are great…If you are behind a firewall or router then try team viewer
