Remote PC Access?

Im going off to college and mother is computer illiterate. What would be the best solution for me to access her computer remotely whenever she needs help?

teamviewer or join.me
teamviewer is a little more full featured but requires a download and running an exe. join.me is web based. they’re both free for private use.

Install LogMeIn on her before going off. You will thank me later. It’s foolproof and it always works. She wont need to run or do anything.

Thanks for all the help guys. I installed Team viewer and it seems to work pretty well. i would try logmein but it seems like you have to pay for it

That’s what I’m talkin’ about dood! Go with it man, go with it…
Remember, you can click the “Setup unattended access” link at the bottom and configure it so that you can connect to that PC anytime it is online. Really good feature!

Sorry to revive an old thread guys..
I’m building a Home media centre + server and I want to be able to remote access, but for mutliple people from multiple places. Teamview looks like the best option, but does “setup unattended access” work for allowing access to multiple people? Not necessarely at the same time, but say my roommate from his laptop and me from mine
Also as an asside, does teamview have a tie in to Mobil OS’s? I’ve seen a few PC remote access via android/iOS apps, but if teamview had that too it’d be sweet
