AVG Internet Security Issue

Hey,
I seem to have this issue regarding my AVG Internet Security. Whenever I startup my computer, it SHOULD automatically run AVG and start the update and all. Then, about 2 months ago, it stopped doing that. I have to manually run AVG, manually hit the update button and then it’ll start.
This continues to annoy me, so could anyone offer some help? Please? Thanks

Ok try the following:
Windows XP: Start -> Run -> type ‘msconfig’ and hit ‘ok’ and look to see if avg has a tick next to it on the ‘startup’ tab. If not, place a tick and exit the window, restart the computer and see if it works again.
Windows Vista: Start -> in seach bar type ‘run’ -> Now type ‘msconfig’ and hit ‘ok’ and look to see if avg has a tick next to it on the ‘startup’ tab. If not, place a tick and exit the window, restart the computer and see if it works again.
Alternatively, you can uninstall AVG and then reinstall. There is probably some app you have installed or some setting you have changed that has stopped it from automatically starting up.

hey i have the same problem but i know the cause
the cause is that AVG says that my AVG is pirated one and said it will not give anymore updates
so im just gonna uninstall and install again from the latest version in
hope u can help me if i still get the problem
