Looking to buy a gaming laptop

Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy a gaming laptop and would love to get some opinions on what you think would be the best. I am looking to spend the max amount at 1800 dollars. I am looking for one that I can play battlefield 3 on high settings and something that I can take with me on the go whenever I travel.

Can I urge you to buy a desktop and build it yourself? It’s the difference in a Ford Fiesta and a rally car, seriously.. Gaming laptops are a waste of money. But if you must have games on a Laptop, Dell Ireland are doing a decent deal on an XPS..
Bah f**k it, it’s gone, it was an i7, with 6gb of ram, a 3gb graphics card and a 1tb hard drive for €1050, €600 off. It was a monster for the price, they’ve taken it down now, ahh well.

Gaming laptops only go so far, I agree with those above who suggest building your own gaming Desktop with an eye on future expansion …
If you must have laptop then that Sager NP8150/NP8170 looks decent [A lot depends on your budget]
