disk trouble

January 6th, 2020

Ok so i have this disk mygf burned for me. It hasa bunch of pics from random events. Im pretty sure she didnt close the disk properly. She also deleted them off her comp already. I can see that there is media possible written on the disk. Is there anyway for me to some how get the data off the disk?
Answer #1
open it with your burning app and see if it offer to add more (indication it’s not closed) and/or close the disk
Answer #2
When i insert it a window pops up asking, “would you like to open disk to burn media to it” Or something along those lines. Or should i put it in her computer and try this?
Answer #3
What software did she use to burn with?
Answer #4
Ill have to ask her tonight, Im sure it was Windows media.
Answer #5
Ah damn…sorry…Maybe somebody else can help…I only know how to recover multi-session made by Nero…
Answer #6

that’d be the best place to start
and if you are using windows burning app try installing IMGburn or nero and open it with one of them to see if they give you more info
Answer #7
Ill try to do it in her comp, she said she just inserted the disk the window came up so she just opend a folder that was the disk blank. Dragged files to it, hit file and rip files to disk.
Answer #8
ok so windows recagnizes it isnt a blank disk when its in WMP. It dosnt give the option to close or to add more content. Im thinkn this is a lost cause.

Answer #9
Try to use one of those softwares that gets back the deleted items ( Undelete for example ) on her computer and see if you get anything back. That is, if the disk case is hopeless.
