old macbook vs new macbook pro

and the new 13.3″ macbook pro for 1199, http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_pro?mco=MTE4NDY [the one on the top left] I’m not upgrading anything, I’m just going to keep them basic when I purchase it. What are the differences between the new macbook pro and the white macbook? Are the differences worth the difference in price?

Well it matters what you want to pay. The pro is much better for photoshop playing games etc. The graphics card in the pro is very much worth it! But there is nothing wrong with the original macbook. It does the job. Maybe when using photoshop and playing 3D Games it may not be as fast and powerful.
So really the only difference is the graphics card. But these days Mac would make new features for the pro and not for the original. So if there is something youd like to buy for the laptop it would be easier to find that works with the pro than the original.
But there isnt really much of a difference.
old white macbook actually upgraded into the “new macbook pro” and it does have a nvdia graphic card 9400m and the 13.3″ mbp is the best buy i get one for myself already and so far so good

btw, nvidia geforce9400m is not same performance as nvidia geforce9400gt, the different is 20% so dont expect high end graphic will come out of it.Tried with left4 dead syn 4x highest resolution and it’s fps will drop sometimes
the new one you have new case which i have been told can get really hot but you have longer battery life, more charges on your battery but other wise their specs seem to be the same. so its a matter if you think the battery life and longer lasting batter is worth 200$ dont for get to have apple care waranty
so basically the only differences are battery and graphics card ya?
is there a huge or small difference in battery?
