Add more RAM to my ’08 MacBook?

May 20th, 2017

Hi,
I have been somewhat dissatisfied with my 08 MB lately. Switching between tabs has been slow when there are many tabs open. Combine it with photoshop and I have to stare at my wall a lot. It seems like the CPU not often reaches its limits whereas the RAM is totally full.

These are my performance scores. Should I pay 60 to get 4gb? Would it increase the performance?

Yes, increasing the memory should help.
If you have one 2GB module, you could add another 2GB one.
The price you suggested seems rather high for memory, Google around a bit..
