Missing fttovn.dll error in Windows Vista?

July 31st, 2016

I can’t upload the picture of it here because somehow tinypic banned my I.P. for reasons that is unknown to me and also I do not know any other image website I can use that does not conflict with good ol’ . I’ve already googled this error, and to my surprise there was not even one search result regarding it. I’ve even waited for days if there would be any google results that would pop out but still to no avail. The error has been around for long time now (at least for a month or so), and it would always mention it during the startup of the deskstop (windows explorer) and unfortunately I have no idea what would’ve caused it.
I wonder if you guys here have heard or experience this sort of error? I’m worried about the consequences of this “error” and I’d like to solve the problem as soon as possible. (because I bought this piece of machinery 4 months ago..)
and also I know I should’ve gone to a websites which may have higher chances of giving me the answer, but I love you guys! Thanks in advance!
(I apologize for being thorough to the people who have tldr mode turned on.)

Answer #1
i cannot find anything on google relating to fttovn.dll at all?? you sure you got the dll file correct ??
maybe you could put your computer back to when your pc never had the error, although you will lose all your updates etc, but thats the only option i can say really. not unless there is some vista peeps on here with more info regarding this dll file.
Answer #2
If i put fttovn.dll in google i get 0 results. Are you sure it’s the right name?
Answer #3
Yeah, I’m pretty sure fttovn.dll is the correct name. Here’s the link to that picture I was talking about.

Btw, do you mean system restore? Hmm, good idea. Might try that out.
But, I’d like to know first if I can solve this error.
